Any private health insurance will cover physiotherapy costs as long as you are signed up for Extras.
Private Health Insurance
Physiotherapy services can be paid privately with Rebates Available for clients who are appropriately covered under private health insurance. Rebates are available and you may be eligible for up to 50% off each consultation. For more information on rebates please contact your private health insurer.

Doctor Referrals
Enhanced Primary Care Plan
Medicare cardholders may be eligible for an Chronic Disease Management referral, however this must be obtained by a General Practitioner. This referral can allow up to five physiotherapy visits per year. When using a Chronic Disease Management referral we charge NO GAP for each consultation.
Workcover
Clients eligible for workers compensation & MVA will be bulk-billed for all services. No out-of-pocket expenses will be incurred. The amount of physiotherapy treatments received will be determined on the type of injury being treated. A Doctors referral and compensation claim number will be required. Please be aware that unapproved sessions will attract out of pocket fees and you can reimburse the cost from the WorkCover later.
Compulsory Third Party Insurance
MVA patients who are under CTP will all be bulk-billed without any out-of-pocket expenses. Please be sure to have your claim number and case approved by the CTP. Failing to do so will attract payments from you.
DVA
Clients who hold a Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) Gold or White Card will be bulk-billed. This means there will be no out-of-pocket expenses incurred. DVA clients will require a Doctors referral for treatment.
Workplace Capacity Assessment
We can assess your physical capacity to see if you are fit for your job or not. Normally your company employer would pay for this but patients may be asked to make payments if you have not discussed it with your employer or they have not agreed to pay for it yet.
